Eligibility Criteria (Highlights)
BCAS requires all candidates to be serving employees from eligible government or related institutions. Retired or private candidates cannot apply.
Common Requirements:
- Holding an analogous post in the parent cadre/department OR
- Relevant experience in related departments (Security, Intelligence, Law, Admin, Driving, etc.)
- Educational qualifications as per role: Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering, Law, etc.
- Maximum age limit: 56 years (for most posts)
For example:
- Deputy Director (Technical): Bachelor’s in Engineering/Tech in IT, CS, or related + 5 years in aviation security or related sectors.
- Law Officer: Bachelor’s in Law + 3 years of legal experience (1 year in aviation law preferred).
- Drivers: Valid license, experience of driving, and knowledge of traffic regulations and basic vehicle maintenance.
