You’ll work alongside CBI officers and legal professionals on actual case files, legal research, and trial preparation.
The CBI Law Internship Scheme 2025 is designed for law students who want to experience the legal workings of India’s premier investigative agency. You will be working at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, or Bangalore, gaining real-world exposure and understanding how major cases are built from the legal side.
This internship offers:

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to Indian citizens who are:
- Law students enrolled in a recognized Law University/Institute.
- For 5-year integrated LLB: Must be in or have completed the 8th semester.
- For 3-year LLB: Must be in or have completed the 4th semester.
Internship Duration
- Minimum: 3 months
- Maximum: 6 months
Please Note
- This is a non-paid internship. Interns must manage their own travel, food, and accommodation.
- No medical or employment benefits will be provided.
- You must sign an Oath of Secrecy before starting.
