Eligibility Criteria
1. Junior Stenographer
- Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent
- Skills: Stenography speed as per DoPT norms (80 w.p.m.)
- Age Limit: Max 27 years
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
- Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent
- Skills: Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. (English) or 30 w.p.m. (Hindi)
- Age Limit: Max 28 years
Note: Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories.
Selection Process
Junior Stenographer
- Written Test (Objective – 200 questions, 2 hours)
- Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, English
- Stenography Skill Test (qualifying only)
Junior Secretariat Assistant (G/F&A/S&P)
- Written Exam:
- Paper I (Qualifying): Mental Ability – 100 Qs (No negative marking)
- Paper II (Merit): General Awareness and English – 100 Qs (Negative marking: 1 mark per wrong answer)
- Typing Test: Qualifying only
Final merit is based on written test (Paper II) only.
