Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Full-time Engineering Graduation (B.E./B.Tech) in the specified streams.
- Must have passed the degree after 1 April 2022.
- Minimum marks required:
- 60% aggregate for UR/OBC/EWS
- 50% for SC/ST/PwBD (VH/HH/OH)
Age Limit (as on 30 May 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC-NC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years
Who Cannot Apply?
- Candidates who completed engineering before 01 April 2022
- Those with 1 year or more of work experience
- Candidates already undergoing or having completed apprenticeship
- Those with an existing apprenticeship contract on the NATS portal
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on academic performance and eligibility
- Personal Interview: Tentatively scheduled for June 2025
- Final Selection: Based on merit list (academic + interview)
- Medical Fitness: As per HPCL standards before final joining

Perks & Notes
- Duration: 1 Year as per Apprentices Act, 1961
- No housing or transport allowance
- Candidates successfully completing the apprenticeship may receive:
- Age relaxation in future HPCL recruitment
- Additional 5% grace marks in CBT exam for regular roles
- However, this is not a guarantee of permanent employment
Important Guidelines
