Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPC) is hiring eligible candidates for Assistant Teacher and PET (Physical Education Teacher) posts on a contractual basis at Project High School, Bariniput and Kabi Surya M.E. School, Mundiguda in Koraput District.

OHPC Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Vacancy Overview

Posting Location: Bariniput and Mundiguda, District – Koraput, Odisha

Contract Duration: Initially 1 year (extendable as per OHPC policy)

Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must:

• Be Indian citizens
• Be within the age limit of 18 to 38 years (as of 1 April 2025)
  • Relaxation: +5 years (SC/ST/SEBC/Women), +10 years (PwD), and equivalent for Ex-servicemen

For Assistant Teacher (MCT):

• Must have passed +2 (Higher Secondary) with:
  • 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT/D.El.Ed)
  • OR B.El.Ed./B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualifications
• Must have passed OTET-I
• Must have Odia as MIL up to Class X or equivalent

For Assistant Teacher (TGT – Arts):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce with any 2 relevant school subjects
• Minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD)
• B.Ed. or 3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated B.A.B.Ed.
• Must have passed OSSTET
• Odia as MIL in Class X or medium of exam in HSC

For Assistant Teacher (TGT – Science CBZ):

• B.Sc. in CBZ stream with relevant subject combinations
• B.Ed./3-year B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated B.Sc.B.Ed.
• Must have passed OSSTET
• Odia language requirement same as above

For PET:

• +2 or equivalent with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
• C.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. from recognized university
• Must have passed OSSTET
• Odia language requirement same as above

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience
• Computer knowledge

   • OTET/OSSTET certificate
   • Caste certificate (if applicable)
   • Employment Exchange Registration
