Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process

Scope of Work

As a Grama Palana Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in land surveys and resolving land disputes
  • Coordinating welfare schemes and development programs
  • Managing village-level disaster response
  • Supporting elections and inter-departmental coordination
  • Performing any other tasks assigned by the Government or District Administration

Service Conditions

  • Salary: You will retain your current pay scale
  • Seniority: Past service as VRO/VRA won’t count toward seniority in the Revenue Department
  • Rules: Specific service rules for the GPO post will be issued later
